Fun Run
By: Sarah Radelfinger
The Richard J. Kegley Memorial Fun Run took place on April 26, 2009, during the Walla Walla University Alumni Homecoming weekend. The annual Fun Run was named after Richard Kegley ’47, a noted runner in the Valley, who is deceased.
Dallas Weis, director of Admissions and coordinator for the run, says that the run is 3.1 miles and starts and ends on the WWU campus. This year, there were 64 participants, the second largest turnout for the Fun Run. The weather was beautiful.
“You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect morning,” said Weis.
